To mark World Refugee Day 2022, Rohingyatographer Magazine presented a virtual exhibition featuring the unique photographic work by the following Rohingya photographers: Ro Yassin Abdumonaf, Shahida Win, Azimul Hasson, Abdullah Khin Maung Thein, Hujjat Ullah, Md Jamal, Enayat Khan, Sahat Zia Hero, Md Iddris and Omal Kahir.

The exhibition was curated by David Palazón and Sahat Zia Hero around the subject of identity presenting intimate recordings of the daily lives of a displaced community. Exploring themes of memory, hope, faith, beauty, craftsmanship, grief, loss and love among the Rohingya refugee community, this exhibition presents a collective portrait that honours the strength, endurance and resilience of the Rohingya people.

This exhibition was made possible with the generous support of the Spanish Embassy in Dhaka, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and Casa Asia in Barcelona. The exhibition was launched with a live online event with the participation of Sahat Zia Hero, Omal Kahir and David Palazón, Casa Asia in Barcelona, the Spanish embassy in Dhaka, Médecins Sans Frontières and UNHCR in Bangladesh.
